I was deeply saddened to hear news about the tragic event that occurred Sunday night in Waukesha. On a night where nothing but holiday cheer was meant to be present, five lives were taken and dozens were injured.

My deepest condolences go out to the friends, families, and entire community affected by this horrible tragedy. No one should ever have to experience senseless acts of violence like this. I am grateful for the first responders, police and health care workers who responded so promptly.
