Survivors in Uganda produce public awareness campaigns that reach over 1,500
In partnership with the United Nations, IJM Uganda helped equip survivors of domestic violence to create educational skits. The outreach program taught communities how to identify abuse, engage the legal system and access community resources.

Government officials and local partner lead the way in freeing 11 people from relentless conditions
Seven adults and four children are officially free after being rescued from a brick kiln where they endured 19-hour work days with little food and shelter. In an encouraging example of how a justice system can work proactively for its people, local authorities and IJM partner READ rescued the families and helped set them up for success with rehabilitation.
