[1]Charles Booker
I know what it’s like to struggle.
I’ve lived in poverty. I’ve been unhoused. I’ve lost family members to gun
violence. I am still paying off my student loans.
I know I’m not alone in these struggles. My story is the story of millions
of Kentuckians who are sick and tired of politicians who continue to
ignore us.
That’s why I’m running to defeat Rand Paul. Together, we’re spreading our
message for bold, transformative change so we can finally help regular
people.

Every day, I hear stories just like my own, of folks struggling to make
ends meet.
Here’s a story one of our supporters recently shared:
“I started supporting Charles Booker for a U.S. Senate seat last year when
I observed how much he loved and served his community in Louisville, where
he has been a lifelong resident. His candidacy became more personal to me,
though, when he started speaking out on social media about financial
struggle throughout his life. Having survived homelessness, rationing
insulin for Type 1 Diabetes, and having to live paycheck-to-paycheck, I
knew that he understood the struggles of many Americans. On August 25th
this summer, he posted the tweet shown in this post, and reading it made
me cry. I cried because I had felt shame for living paycheck-to-paycheck
most of my adult life, but here was a candidate who knew what it was like
and was committed to helping people like me.”
Your stories — our stories — are what drives this campaign to fight for
meaningful change. Together, we have the power to change the future of
Kentucky.

and funding. Please chip in $5 or anything you can today so
that we can sustain this work to replace Rand Paul.
