On behalf of The Trust for Public Land, I want to take a moment to share our gratitude for your support.
This was a year of great challenge and great change. Yet every day, I am uplifted and inspired by the amazing momentum we’ve made to build a brighter, healthier, and more equitable future.
Thanks to you, we’ve made transformational progress to create more places that bring us outside—parks, trails, playgrounds, open spaces—and make them available to everyone, everywhere. (Here's a look at some of the important work we accomplished in 2021.)
But much more is needed—and can be achieved—to close the park-equity gap for the more than 100 million people, including 28 million kids, in this country without a park close to home.
