received apologies from the Virginia Democratic Party and TV station WJLA for asking a Muslim candidate an anti-Muslim debate question,
prompted the U.S. Justice Department to investigate the police killing of a Black, disabled Muslim in Phoenix, Arizona, or
helped a charity overcome bias to build a Muslim cemetery.
