Dear Friend of Israel,
The numbers are staggering. In last year's midterm election:
-
More than 100 new members were elected to Congress.
-
Party control in the House flipped for the third time in just 12 years.
-
More than 60% of incoming House members never held elected office and most had little to no experience regarding Israel and the Middle East.Such immense turnover in Congress requires even greater efforts to engage with candidates, for which AIPAC needs an ever increasing number of committed activists like you.
As we look toward next year's election...
It’s on us to meet with and educate every viable candidate to share AIPAC issue memos and policy publications as well as to collect position papers on their views of the U.S.-Israel relationship.
It’s on us to ensure each candidate understands the severity of the threats facing Israel.
It’s on us to keep them focused on ways to strengthen American support for Israel.
And it’s on us to prepare them for critical votes they may one day make that can affect the future of this alliance.
With all this work ahead, your support today is critical. Simply put Friend of Israel, without your help, I’m not confident that we can get it all done.

That is why I am asking you to join us.
By doing so, you will help provide the vital resources we need to support our ongoing work to ensure the members of Congress elected next year are well informed and ready to strengthen future bipartisan support for Israel from the moment they arrive in Washington.
