Before anything: I want to say thank you. This is a campaign of bold ideas, and it's a campaign driven by the grassroots. I truly wouldn't be able to do it without you.

Earlier this week, we told you we were short of our fundraising goal. Since then, we've raised $6,557, but we still need to raise another $2,943 by midnight tonight to reach our October goal. Like I said, I can't do this without you.

Our movement is about educating the whole child, providing critical mental health supports for struggling families, bringing restorative justice to our communities, and prioritizing affordable housing. For too long, our communities have been ignored by the establishment.

With your help, we can bring the power back to the people. I'm proud not to take any corporate PAC money, and to be fully funded by the grassroots.
