Recently, the Laughlin Town Advisory Board passed a vote to support the
designate Avi Kwa Ame as a National Monument.

With Laughlin’s support - now all three gateway communities (Laughlin,
Searchlight and Boulder City) support designating this sacred area as a
National Monument. There are many reasons to designate this sacred and
beautiful area, and one is that these designations help local economies!

impact in the West.

Avi Kwa Ame could be Nevada’s 4th National Monument and public support for
the creation of the monument is increasing.
