<[link removed]>Roe is at risk, and we're showing up to fight.Hi Friend,

I’m going to DC to support abortion access for all.

On Wednesday, December 1, the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) will hear oral arguments for Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization; a Mississippi abortion case that directly challenges Roe v. Wade.

Roe v. Wade (or simply “Roe”) is the SCOTUS case that first secured abortion as a right. Through the 14th Amendment, the Court, in a 7-2 decision, ruled that a woman had a right to privacy until the point of fetal viability (basically, you can get an abortion until the baby could actually survive outside of the womb).

Friend, is the future of abortion rights and access in America important to you? Chip in $10 today. <[link removed]>

Today, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization threatens to overturn the already limited access to abortion Roe provided nearly 50 years ago.

What’s at stake? If SCOTUS upholds Mississippi’s ban, it will gut Roe. If Roe falls, 26 states in the country are poised to ban abortion entirely, leaving even more people across the South and Midwest without access to care.

I along with other young, Black, Indigenous, people of color, queer, trans, and non-binary URGE members will attend a rally outside the Supreme Court on December 1st to loudly and clearly affirm that our lives, our identities, and our experiences are not up for debate. We are young, powerful, and #AbortionPositive.

You can join us online using the hashtag #AbortionPositive and #AbortionIsEssential. We will be reposting our supporters all day to show solidarity across our states, so tag us @urge_org to join.

URGE is building young people's power and forging a path forward for justice and liberation.

Friend, join us on this path forward with a donation in an amount meaningful to you. <[link removed]>
