The night will be filled with little ones scampering from house to house in search of candy and an occasional scare, but under the category of truly terrifying I would ask you to read the op-ed below.

It strikes me as near verbatim of what I have been saying on the campaign trail. It is truth. It is fact. It is real. I ask you to look for ways of elevating this issue as well because I can’t do it on my own and it is the issue of our time.

These realities were being ignored before, and now it's even worse as all media has focused on impeachment. But math and reality has a way of winning in the end, and if we wait to confront reality here it will impact all of our lives in scary ways that go well beyond Halloween. Whether you love him or hate him, Trump will leave office in months or years . . .but what will linger here on debt will have a permanent affect in our lives.

So good luck tonight in handing out candy. . . but I ask that you hand a copy of this op-ed to the parents who come by tonight as they shepherd their little ones! Print away . . .
