John - This holiday season, we at ISN are thankful for the Ignatian family.

John,
We at ISN are grateful for you, the Ignatian family, and the opportunity to walk with you through the past year, taking continuous steps toward a more just world.

** We are grateful for:

The voices of the many members of the Ignatian family who are making world-changing decisions to work for justice;
Like the Loyola University Chicago alum, whose participation in a climate hunger strike i ([link removed]) nspired a national Catholic movement ([link removed]) and students from The University of Detroit Mercy ([link removed]) who are making big moves for their fellow students and helping to build community across the U.S.

The hundreds of parishes and over 1,000 registrants who've taken part in the A Parish Journey for Racial Justice and Equity ([link removed]) this year;

"The hope that it inspires is priceless. The chance to talk with others around the United States who are experiencing some of the same obstacles provides new ideas and strategies to deal with this difficult conversation. It makes me realize, I am not alone—160 other people have the same hopes and dreams to make the world a better place. The work of ISN is so important and essential." – Judy Schockling, St. John's Catholic Church

The opportunities that lie ahead;
We gathered in person for the first time in 20 months for the Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice ([link removed]) . The new venue for IFTJ, the Washington Hilton, makes it possible to bring even more members of the Ignatian family together for IFTJ 2022 on October 22-24, 2022. Save the date! Registration opens in early 2022.
THANK YOU for being part of the Ignatian Solidarity Network's mission to network, educate, and form advocates for social justice!

Peace,

Christopher Kerr
Executive Director
