Over the next few days, my team and I will be sending you a few more emails than usual -- but please don’t ignore them, we have a good reason.

Before I get into the specifics, let me just ask up front: Will you rush a donation to my campaign today? I have a critical end-of-month deadline in just a few days, and we’re still $10,000 short of our goal.

Thanksgiving and the first night of Hanukkah are in just a few days, which means folks will be taking needed breaks from their emails to spend time with friends and family.

But the end of the month is also in just a few days, and we’re still short of our monthly goal.

This is our last end-of-month fundraising goal before next month’s FEC deadline, and, yes -- that means we’ll be publicly reporting our fundraising numbers.

In light of Republicans winning up and down the ballot in Virginia earlier this month, our numbers need to send a message that our grassroots campaign is as strong as ever.
