I know it feels like the midterm elections are a long way off — believe me, it feels like that to me, too. But Republicans are already working to unseat me, and that means we have to start now to be ready for whatever they throw our way. Republicans are preparing for 2022 now because they think they have a real chance of beating me and flipping PA-07 red. Outside groups are already spending big on running advertisements against me here in the district, and I already have two Republican opponents. One of them was my opponent in 2020, when I won one of the closest House races in the country, and she already has endorsements from the NRCC and Elise Stefanik’s extremist PAC.

They’re focusing on my seat because they think it’s flippable — and they know that without taking PA-07, Republicans have no chance of taking back control of the House.
