Arena is an organization that convenes, trains, and supports the next generation of candidates and campaign staff. Formed after the 2016 election, we work to strengthen Democratic and progressive campaigns by supporting candidates and campaign staff who reflect the diversity of America.

We're looking for people with a wide array of tech and data skills. Data scientists, product managers, developers, people who know Python, R, or SQL, or those who hold other roles at tech companies are a great fit.

At the training we’ll demystify electoral politics and explore how participants can apply their skills to campaigns. We’ll focus on the future of campaigns, discuss research in the Democratic campaign space, evaluate how bias shows up in this work, and learn how data drives strategic campaigns.

After the training, we’ll help participants figure out how they can plug in to 2022 campaigns. Arena’s Careers Team is ready to help participants make the transition to politics, take a sabbatical from their current role, or find a way to be a super volunteer on a race they are passionate about.

The early admission deadline is December 15 and the regular admission deadline is January 4. The training costs $200 and scholarships are available.
