Cleaning up Coal Ash: |
Earthjustice helped develop and push through Illinois’ first-ever rules specifically targeting coal ash pollution, a toxic byproduct of burning coal that contaminates waterways with heavy metals such as arsenic. The rules ensure greater transparency and public participation around clean-up. |
