Many Question How Killer at Parade was Released Days Before
He was freed for a mere $1000 after, of all things, trying to run over the mother of his child. Even the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s office admitted the low bail was a horrible mistake, issuing this statement: “ The State’s bail recommendation in this case was inappropriately low in light of the nature of the recent charges and the pending charges against [the suspect]. The bail recommendation in this case is not consistent with the approach of the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office toward matters involving violent crime, nor was it consistent with the risk assessment of the defendant prior to setting of bail” ( Daily Wire). Another story notes that same DA “ has been a leading figure among “progressive prosecutors,” leftwing lawmen who favor diversionary programs and community-building to locking up criminal defendants. His handling of the Brooks case is already sparking blowback to their growing influence over the justice system, much of which has been boosted by financial contributions from the leftwing billionaire George Soros ( Free Beacon). Despite early reports by the mainstream press that the driver was fleeing another crime when he drove into the parade, that narrative changed as the day progressed. The New York Times notes “ The incident was not related to terrorism, and Mr. Brooks was not being pursued by the police at the time” ( NY Times).

Former NY Times Reporter: Paper Buried Kenosha Riots Until After 2020 Elections
From the story: Bowles said she was sent to report on the “mainstream liberal argument” that vandalizing buildings for racial justice was not detrimental because businesses had insurance. “It turned out to be not true,” Bowles wrote. “The part of Kenosha that people burned in the riots was the poor, multi-racial commercial district, full of small, underinsured cell phone shops and car lots. It was very sad to see and to hear from people who had suffered.” Bowles said she filed her story, and editors told her it would not run until after the election, citing “space, timing, tweaks,” according to her post. The piece eventually ran after Joe Biden won the election, Bowles said ( NY Post). From Lindsey Fifield: I have elderly relatives who only watch NBC nightly news and had no idea about the BLM/antifa riots—saw only coverage of peaceful marches They called me on 1/6 in tears “You never called me this upset during the riots last year,” I remarked to one “What riots?” they replied ( Twitter).

She then noted “ Over the last few years I’ve watched, appalled, as women like Allison Bailey, Raquel Sanchez, Marion Miller, Rosie Duffield, Joanna Cherry, Julie Bindel, Rosa Freedman, Kathleen Stock and many, many others, including women who have no public profile. But who’ve contacted me to relate their experiences, have been subject to campaigns of intimidation which range from being hounded on social media, the targeting of their employers, all the way up to doxing and direct threats of violence, including rape. None of these women are protected in the way I am. They and their families have been put into a state of fear and distress for no other reason than that they refuse to uncritically accept that the socio-political concept of gender identity should replace that of sex.”

Media Take on Rittenhouse Filled with Bad Information
Amy Swearer takes on a Slate article that read like many of the others from the MSM ( Twitter). From Gerard Baker: In the minds of the ranting radicals of the Squad or MSNBC, dimly repeated by the president, these so-called rights—presumption of innocence, due process, trial by jury, proof of guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, etc., are not the bedrock legal protections against overweening authority the Anglo-Saxon jurisprudence has deemed them to be. In the minds of the regnant left when they find the defendant unsympathetic, they are inconveniences, fetishized excrescences of judicial process that obstruct and subvert the larger and more important objective of social justice. In this increasingly popular account on the left, they are the armor with which the capitalist white supremacists protect their hegemony. As such they can be dismissed ( WSJ).
