** A futures-led inquiry for the renewable energy sector

The Net Positive Renewable Energy ([link removed]) initiative seeks to harness the power of investors and buyers to ensure the scaling of the renewable energy sector in Asia is ecologically safe, rights-respecting, and socially-just.

The rise of renewables has brought great hope for our ability to tackle climate change. However, negative environmental and social impacts of the industry could hamper its ability to enable a just transition to a low carbon future. With this in mind, together with WRI, S&P Global Foundation, TERI and other expert collaborators, we are building an initiative that aims to support investors, renewable energy buyers and developers through country-specific collaborative inquiries that will ensure financing for renewable energy establishes a new set of norms in Asia.
