In anticipation of the Thanksgiving holiday this Thursday, we’ve been raising funds for three local organizations in the Bronx and Queens to put food on the table for low-income families and neighbors in our community.
Many members of our community continue to face food insecurity, and Team AOC has invested in fundraising efforts and partnerships to support local organizations’ food distribution programs throughout COVID and beyond.
In anticipation of the Thanksgiving holiday this Thursday, we’ve been raising funds for three local organizations in the Bronx and Queens to put food on the table for low-income families and neighbors in our community.
If you’re able to lend a hand, please chip in $6 or whatever you can afford to help us ramp up food distribution efforts this Thanksgiving >>

100% of your donation will go to these three organizations:
- La Jornada NY Food Pantry is a food pantry service located in the heart of Queens that has delivered hundreds of meals to the immigrant and poor communities of Queens.
- Relief Access Program for The Bronx (also known as Rap4Bronx) provides food, prepared meals, and groceries to community members. Last year, they distributed 500 turkeys and 800 pantry bags for Thanksgiving! They’re hoping to exceed these numbers this year.
- Jewish Community Council of Pelham Parkway operates the largest food pantry in the East Bronx. They distribute over 1,200 food packages per month which include three meals a day for three days for each member of the household.
We’ve seen this movement step up to achieve incredible things before, and we need your help to continue to provide urgent relief to those in need – especially during the holidays.
If you are able to donate, please pitch in $6 – or whatever you can afford – and your donation will be automatically split between these three organizations providing direct food relief.
Thank you,
Team AOC
