This Hanukkah, let’s shine a light on the Good Fight against antisemitism.

Hanukkah reminds us that even one small light has the power to illuminate darkness and spark hope, and together with our friends, families and community, our individual lights become a beacon.

Join ADL and our partner agencies in SHINE A LIGHT, a national initiative to drive away the shadow of antisemitism through education and engagement among Jewish and non-Jewish communities.

During Hanukkah 2021 (Nov 28-Dec 6), take action with SHINE A LIGHT in the classroom, workplace and community with one act against antisemitism for each night of the holiday:

1. Share on social media how you #ShineALight on antisemitism.
2. Encourage your company to join the fight against antisemitism and to participate in Shine A Light. Also please suggest that DEI and HR officials where you work join us for a webinar on 12/2 @ 1pm EST — “Why We Should Talk About Antisemitism in the Workplace: A Discussion for DEI and HR Professionals.”
3. Watch the Never Is Now highlights video, then dive into the crucial conversations that took place at the world’s largest annual summit on antisemitism and hate.
4. Read Jonathan Greenblatt’s latest op-ed in The Washington Post to learn about a new front in the fight against antisemitism.
5. Encourage schools that you’re connected with to teach about the Holocaust and contemporary antisemitism through our education programs, digital courses and resources.
6. Learn about some of the most pernicious myths — and how to address them — in Antisemitism Uncovered: A Guide to Old Myths in a New Era.
7. Register for ADL In Concert Against Hate on December 12 for an evening of unforgettable performances and inspiring stories of everyday heroes in the fight against antisemitism and hate.
8. Tell your Senators to confirm Professor Deborah Lipstadt to serve as the U.S. State Department’s next Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism.
