And we know they will always put their bottom line over the American people.

Carolyn worked with her colleagues and stakeholders across our community to change this. With the passage of the Build Back Better Act, the Secretary of Health and Human Services will have the power to directly negotiate what Medicare pays for prescription drugs, rather than big pharmaceutical companies.

This will allow drug prices to be fixed by an unbiased third party.
