Friend, when we came together and elected my friend, Rev. Raphael Warnock, we didn't just flip Georgia and the Senate for Democrats. We made a resounding declaration of what we want for the next generation: A future that is better, brighter, more inclusive and more just – a future worth fighting for. 

But you should know that our historic victory didn't happen overnight. It took years of hard work, dedication and vision – and if we want to recreate our groundbreaking win, we need to get to work. Now.

With the Senate split 50-50, Republicans need to flip just one seat to retake control for Mitch McConnell – and they're already coming after Raphael as their top target for defeat. So I mean it when I say that the only way he can fight back and keep Georgia blue is if grassroots folks like you rush your immediate support. That's why I'm personally asking, friend:

Will you give $5 or more right now – as much as you can spare before our critical midnight deadline – to protect Raphael's seat in Georgia and defend our Democratic Senate majority?

I won't sugarcoat this: The future of our democracy is at stake here in Georgia. The GOP is leading an all-out assault on our constitutional right to vote – and they just passed a power-grabbing voter suppression bill that is nothing less than Jim Crow 2.0. Their efforts – based on the lies of conspiracy theorists and Capitol insurrectionists – are shameful. 

While Republicans in Georgia and across the country are laser-focused on reviving our dark past of racist voting laws, Raphael is leading the charge in the Senate to pass the Freedom to Vote Act, which would expand our voting rights. He knows that the right to vote is sacred – and he'll always fight to make sure all eligible voters have a voice in our democracy.

Raphael Warnock is not only a voting rights champion and a progressive warrior – but experts say that Democrats' chances of defending our slim majority HINGE on keeping his seat blue. That's why I need your help.

The GOP is already attacking him with misleading ads – and you can bet they'll spend millions to try and buy this seat. We cannot let them. We need a massive surge of grassroots support by midnight tonight to fight back and win – but time is running out, and we're still falling short.
