The Trevor Project
GivingTuesday. Save the Date and hep save young LGBTQ lives.

Hi Friend of Trevor,

Next week is Giving Tuesday, when compassionate folks unite to do good. But for LGBTQ young people whose families and communities don’t accept them, it’ll be just another Tuesday.

We estimate that every year in the U.S., more than 1.8 million LGBTQ young people seriously consider suicide. The Trevor Project’s goal is to be there for every single one of them. Giving Tuesday is one of our most significant opportunities to raise funds to train more counselors to be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

So, Friend of Trevor, as this global day of generosity approaches, please consider how LGBTQ young people’s need for support is on the rise. Trevor’s 2021 National Survey on LGBTQ Youth Mental Health revealed that nearly half of LGBTQ young people wanted counseling from a mental health professional, but did not receive it.

And be on the lookout for a message from us next week, which just might include an exciting way to amplify the power of your generosity!

Thank you! We are grateful for your commitment and support.
