Kevin McCarthy has stooped to a new low, folks.

Instead of immediately coming out against Paul Gosar, a member of his own caucus, tweeting out a video depicting the murder of Representative Ocasio-Cortez, Kevin McCarthy was silent for days, only recently making a lackluster statement about the tweet before pivoting to Republican talking points on the House floor.

Then, he even said that Rep. Gosar and Marjorie Taylor Greene would be rewarded for their reprehensible behavior if Republicans win the House in 2022.

This is a new low, but we’re not surprised.

McCarthy is bending to the whims of the far-right mob that attacked the Capitol on January 6, and he is too scared to cross them, no matter how far they go.
