Republicans are gerrymandering Congressional maps across the country, which is terrible news for Democrats.
This is a longer email about how gerrymandering will make it difficult to defend the Democratic House majority in 2022. Please donate now to help support our 2022 candidates, if you can. Donate ›››

John, check out this headline from The New York Times:

Republicans are gerrymandering congressional maps across the country, and it will make defending Democrats’ House majority really challenging.
Republicans have already finalized their maps in big states like Texas and North Carolina. And in both states, Republicans have given themselves a solid advantage. Already across the country, Republicans have added five seats they can expect to win, while Democrats are down one. That’s concerning considering Republicans need to flip just five seats to hand the Speaker’s gavel back to Kevin McCarthy.
For Truth to Power endorsed candidates, redistricting—even without gerrymandering—means that some of our candidates could be running in even more competitive races. It also means candidates will need to introduce themselves to new voters, and they’ll need resources to do so.
We need to make sure Truth to Power candidates have all of the support they need to win their elections—no matter what redistricting and gerrymandering brings. If you can afford it, please consider making a donation of $5 today to support Truth to Power candidates ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.
Thank you,
Truth to Power HQ
