My intent is to govern, protecting Texas soverignty and individual liberty, not rule over citizens.

A Republic such as America is rooted in the ideals of individual rights, freedom, and liberty.

The foundation of America is based upon the concept that the individual is sovereign over the institution of government, and adherence to the rule of law.

We are dealing with a virus, not a disease, with a 99 percent recovery rate -- yet the Executive Branch is going about issuing mandates, edicts, orders, and decrees without the consent of the government.

In other words, we are being ruled, not governed.

When Joe Biden once uttered the phrase "no Amendment to the Constitution is absolute," it sent a thrill up the legs of socialists, communists, statists, and marxists.

When he said his authoritarian vaccine assault "is not about your freedom," the enemies of liberty cheered. 

For those who truly stand for freedom, Biden's disturbing remarks, and equally disturbing totalitarian tendencies, should send a chill down your spine.

This is why we need to counter these actions with every power at our disposal.
