On Thursday, the Russian military announced another successful test of its Tsirkon hypersonic missile. Russia has conducted multiple tests of the missile over the last several months, but this test occured in the country's far north, signaling that Russia wishes to remain an arctic power.

On Friday, the Department of Defense announced that the Aegis Ashore capability that has been planned for deployment in Poland is set to become operational in 2022. The Aegis Combat System was originally designed for onboard ship use but has been transitioned to be used on land as well.

Also on Friday, the Swedish Armed Forces announced that the American-made Patriot PAC-3 air defense missile system have officially entered into Swedish service. The U.S. Army believes that his integration of systems marks a new era for Swedish defense.

On Sunday, nine Chinese military aircraft entered Taiwan's Air Defense Identification Zone. China has been sending aircraft into their ADIZ almost every day in the month of November.
 
On Monday, Army Recognition reported that Saudi Arabia is expected to receive American-made THAAD air defense missile systems in 2023.
