A hard time of year for many

We realize that many (including some of us on the Board) are struggling this time of year due to government restrictions and how they've affected jobs.

We want to be very respectful and sensitive of that, while at the same time, providing others with appropriate end of year information.

If you and your family have been affected by loss of jobs and more, our hearts go out to you.

From our Party Leader Maxime Bernier

Who said this week that Erin O’Toole “flip flopped on policies within the same week, the same day, and even within the same sentence” since he was elected Conservative leader?

That he “ran an election campaign nearly indistinguishable from Trudeau’s Liberals?”

That Canadian voters could see that O’Toole’ character flaw is that he is “not trustworthy?”

It wasn’t me.

It was Denise Batters, a very partisan Conservative senator, who launched a petition asking for a review of O’Toole’s leadership.

He kicked her out of the Conservative caucus on the same day.

That’s how things work in intellectually and morally corrupt parties.

Meanwhile, in the People’s Party, we stay on track.

Nobody will ever accuse me of betraying our principles and diluting our policies.

I have been holding zoom meetings almost every day for several weeks with our candidates.

After taking part in one such meeting yesterday, our candidate in Kootenay-Columbia, Sarah Bennett, tweeted this:

“The best thing about the People’s Party? Values stay constant and true. We will prevail.”

Yes, that’s how we will build trust with Canadians. By sticking to our guns.

Reminder of Leadership Review

Maxime Bernier wants to hear from YOU and let him know if you think he has been an effective Leader.

If you had a valid PPC membership on September 20, 2021 (the day of the recent federal election), you will receive an invitation on November 12, 2021, to vote on Maxime's leadership.

We made the decision to use the election day as the cut-off date because we want to hear from true PPC supporters, not outside groups looking to hijack the Party.

Eligible members will receive login credentials by email or traditional mail to vote on ppc.simplyvoting.com. The Leadership Review will be an online vote conducted by an authorized third-party firm, SimplyVoting.

The question you will answer is simple: Do you support Maxime Bernier remaining as Leader of the People’s Party of Canada? You will be able to answer Yes or No.

Login credentials and information will come from [email protected]. We strongly encourage you to watch out for emails from this address and whitelist it, so nothing important ends up in your spam!

Voting will begin on Friday, November 12th, 2021, and conclude Friday December 3, 2021. Results will be announced shortly afterwards. Reminder emails will go out throughout the voting period to those who have not cast their ballots.

Christmas Gift Ideas

We are proud to announce that we are re-launching our online merch store via Shopify!

The last year has been hectic at HQ, as we got the party ready for the recent snap election. Something that fell through the cracks was the supply of merchandise for those who wanted to sport our brand.

https://peoplespartystore.ca/

Due to backlogged orders and high demand, we anticipate the 2021 stock will run out fast. Get your order in while supplies last!

The holiday season is approaching fast; what better gift to give than freedom?

Looking forward to seeing the purple army this holiday season!
