THANK YOU for standing up for Equal Pay with us last week on Equal Pay Day and joining our call to #EndSalaryHistory. Thanks to you, we managed to get the conversation about equal pay and the gender pay gap going across the country – from TV to radio to social media with Equal Pay Day trending on Twitter.

A feminist’s work is never done though – at least not until gender equality is achieved - and we urgently need your support again.
Make your voice heard on flexible working
The government is currently consulting on making flexible working easier and we need you to make your voice heard. We have a real opportunity to make work more accessible for everyone and limit the discrimination faced by those of us who need flexible work.

The lack of good quality flexible working options is a huge barrier for gender equality and contributes to the gender pay gap. The pandemic has shown that more jobs than we thought possible can be done flexibly and we must not lose the progress made on flexible working.

You can help win #FlexForAll right now.

Share your own views and experiences by completing the questionnaire and your response will be submitted to the Government, on your behalf.

OUR ASK: Employers must be required to put flexible working options in all job adverts.

At the moment employees have to wait until they have worked somewhere for 26 weeks before they can ask. This means that people won't know if they can get the flexibility they need until they start.

Job adverts that clearly outline the flexible working options available will give people the information they need to decide if the job suits their work life balance and will help employers attract a wider range of quality candidates.

It’s an important change that can make a big difference and you can help make it happen.

Join the #FlexForAll campaign ([link removed]) and share your views and experiences on flexible working.
In solidarity,
The Fawcett Society 💜
