Friend,
In the next two weeks, the Supreme Court will hear two consequential cases for religious freedom and church-state separation. The potential impact of these decisions cannot be understated. The simple fact is that we now have a majority of justices who want to sacrifice our rights to the religious beliefs of a determined minority. Supposedly to promote religious freedom. But really to undermine it.
These cases are critical to our fight to secure equality without exception and freedom without favor! Sign up now for these virtual emergency briefings to hear the facts!

* In Carson v. Makin, the court could force the state of Maine to use public money to fund religious education. This is truly a landmark case for religious freedom and public education.
* In Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the court could decide to ally itself with religious extremists and effectively overturn Roe v. Wade when it considers the constitutionality of Mississippi’s 15-week abortion ban.
As AU's new Vice President of Outreach & Engagement and someone who's been working as an organizer and advocate for over a decade on these issues, I know how critical it is that we take action and stay informed. That's why I want to invite you to RSVP for two special Virtual Town Hall events we are hosting with our partners after each of these Supreme Court hearings.
During the Town Halls, we'll update you on the cases, provide analysis of how the arguments went, discuss next steps and give you time to ask your questions. RSVP today to be the first to hear about these critical cases!
