We’re pacing a bit behind on fundraising ahead of the holiday season and FEC deadline, so I’m reaching out to ask if you will consider making a donation to help us close that gap.

You see, our campaign has important fundraising goals that we need to hit every quarter before the official FEC deadline. Reaching these goals allows us to do ongoing organizing and communication work from our campaign and support my most vulnerable Democratic colleagues.

This work helps us build support for our shared progressive values and win critical elections so that we can make meaningful change.

And the truth is, fundraising gets a lot harder during the holiday season, and with us already pacing behind a bit for the quarter, I want to make a push right now to try to get us back on track.

We’re seeing right now just how much organizing and winning elections matter. The Build Back Better Act would not be on the table if it were not for all the work all of us did last year to take back the Senate.

This is a transformative piece of legislation that will allow us to make real investments in our families and communities. It’s our best shot, and possibly last chance, to take aggressive action and stop the worst of the climate crisis.

So this moment and this bill demand and deserve my full attention, and I’m going to work day and night to get it across the finish line with as many of our progressive priorities — like the Child Tax Credit, investments in clean energy, funding for gun violence intervention programs, lower prescription drug prices and more.

I don’t want to have to spend time worrying about our fundraising goals. But right now, we’re over halfway to the FEC deadline, and the truth is we’re pacing behind. So I need your help to pick up the pace on our fundraising and get back on track. What do you say?
