Hi John,

Are there creative kids in your life who do everything they can to protect our planet?

Then we have some huge news for you.

COP26 may be over but now more than ever we need everyone to know that our planet needs us. That's why we are asking for your help. We’ve launched a new competition for young artists to design a t-shirt for Greenpeace. The winners will get a t-shirt featuring their amazing artwork – and their tee will even be available to buy in the Greenpeace shop!

The deadline is Sunday 28th November – less than a week away. So don’t hang around. Tell all the young planet protectors in your life to grab their paints, pens and crayons and get busy!

The only rule is there are no rules. You can use pictures or words or patterns or collages or cut outs from magazines and newspapers. Paints, crayons, pens, pencils, potato prints – anything goes.

We’re looking for winning t-shirts that will make people stop in the street and feel inspired to take action for our climate. So what are you waiting for?

There are three age categories – 0-7, 8-11 and 12-17 - so from preschool Picassos to teenage tailors, everyone is welcome.

To enter, parents, carers or teachers simply need to upload a photo of the design. Our t-shirt magicians will have the winning designs ready to buy in time for Christmas – and we’ll send the winners their very own shirt to wear with pride.

And don’t worry – all our t-shirts are printed on organic cotton, made without hazardous chemicals and printed to order, so there’s no waste.

Adults, show your young people this design brief to get them fired up:

  1. What’s the competition? We’re looking for a t-shirt design that will make people stop in the street and feel inspired to take action for our climate.
  2. What could I win? If your entry is chosen you’ll win a t-shirt with your design on.
  3. What are the rules? The only rule is there are no rules! You can use pictures or words or patterns or collages or cut outs from magazines and newspapers. Paints, crayons, pens, pencils, potato prints – anything goes.
  4. How do I submit my entry? Ask an adult to take a picture and upload it onto our website.
  5. When will I find out if I’ve won? You need to submit your entry by Sunday 28th November. We’ll then shortlist the entries, the public will vote on the winners and we will email or phone the person who submitted your entry in early December. And we’ll then get your t-shirt made and in the post to you.

Good luck! Tee time starts now…
