Koch’s academic funding methods work -- at the cost of our environment. The efforts of the RSC have translated to tangible victories for the Koch network. The RSC has played a central role in exponentially devaluating the social cost of carbon, the figure used for emissions regulations at the EPA. In addition, the RSC facilitated the development of an analytical statistics tool used by the oil industry to dismiss the link between air pollution and mortality.
