I spent much of my birthday on the House floor, proudly casting my vote for President Biden’s Build Back Better Act to cut down the cost of living for working families, permanently ban offshore oil and gas leasing off the coast of California, and tackle the climate crisis. I couldn’t imagine a better birthday week than having the opportunity to vote for legislation that will make such a critical difference in the everyday lives of millions of Americans.
I am grateful to have the opportunity to keep fighting for you and am honored to have you on my team.
