 Friend -- If you've watched Schoolhouse Rock -- heck, if you've lived through the last decade -- you know what a big deal the new bipartisan infrastructure law is. It had to get through committees. Survive negotiations within and between both parties. Win at least 60 votes in the Senate (it got 69) and at least 218 votes in the House (it got 228, including mine). Presidents and Congresses have been trying to pass infrastructure packages like this for a generation. This time, we succeeded.
