Republicans in over 40 states are pushing voter suppression bills attacking gains made in the Civil Rights movement as a backlash against the #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd and #BLM movement last year. It’s no surprise they’re trying to get away with voter suppression here by sandwiching a decisive election between the 2 biggest holidays in the US.
