At this point, we’ve lost count on how many times Republicans tried to take away America's healthcare. While President Obama was in office, they repeatedly failed to defund Obamacare, and when Trump was President, they were rejected by one of their own, the late John McCain.

And that’s because even among their own supporters, gutting healthcare is not popular and just bad politics. Senator McCain knew that. The American people know that.
