This is the first of eight issues papers as part of our Big Fixes Plan to develop solutions and policy to address key challenges facing the country.

We all know that technology will create exciting careers and higher paying jobs and has the potential to transform the New Zealand economy.

At the launch you will hear insightful talks from tech leaders like Rocker Lab CEO Peter Beck, International Tech Financier Matt Ocko, former President and CEO of SAP North America and current CEO and Director of MyWave Geraldine McBride, University of Waikato Artificial Intelligence Director Professor Albert Bifet, CEO of NZTech Graeme Muller, Fintech NZ Board Member James Brown, CEO of AgriTech NZ Brendan O’Connell and Imche Fourie, Founder and CEO of Outset Ventures.

Our first paper starts the conversation on ‘How do we nurture a growing tech sector that creates more and better paying jobs and competes on the world stage?’
