Democrats Take A Radical Left Turn On Israel

Earlier this week, Democrats from Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren to Joe Biden and JDCA Executive Director Halie Soifer enthusiastically participated in a conference of a radical leftwing Jewish group called J Street. The Washington Post once described J Street as an organization so far out of the mainstream that it had to “persuade Democrats not to take their names off J Street statements.” The Democrat leaders spoke at this event because in the last six months, Democrats have taken a wildly leftist turn in their position on Israel.

Democrats Want To Break Long Standing, Bi-Partisan Support For Israel By Imposing Their Left-Wing Policies On Our Closest Ally

It started in April with the de facto face of the Democrat Party, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, saying that threatening to cut military aid to Israel as a negotiating tool is “something that can be discussed.” Now, six months later, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Pete Buttigieg are explicitly saying that if Israel won’t adjust its internal security measures to their liking, they will cut those funds off.

Led By AOC, Democrats Have Decided They Know Better Than The Israeli People How To Best Secure Israel

Republicans support the Israeli people and their democratically elected leaders. The major Israeli political parties are generally in agreement on the best way to keep Israel secure. Democrats now want to abandon decades of bipartisan support for Israel because the far left-wing of their party is calling the shots. Even the Washington Post is noting that these candidates are “taking positions that the party would have warned against just a year or so earlier.” Today’s Democrat Party is simply no longer a party that believes in bipartisan support for Israel.
