Dear Friend,

It has been a while since we connected. I hope this finds you and your loved ones healthy and well.

Here’s an inside look on what we are doing to address western wildfires, put an end to the new nuclear arms race that has the potential to devastate our world, and fight the global climate crisis.

In my 11th year in Congress, I’ve:

- Introduced legislation to conduct proper forest management and unlock new federal resources to help California fight and prevent wildfires;
- Continued my work as a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee to try to put an end to the trillion dollar nuclear arms race that could destroy our planet, and;
- Passed legislation that would require the U.S. military--the largest institutional consumer of oil in the world--to cut its emissions and be an ally in the fight against the climate crisis.

Without your tremendous support and partnership over the years none of this would be possible. I want you to know how much I appreciate your support, and I hope we can continue to work together for years to come.

We have accomplished so much, and we have more work to do to rebuild the middle class, lower healthcare costs, protect our climate, expand access to an affordable education, and much more.

Thank you for everything you do. I will continue to pass along updates on my work and hope to hear from you soon as well.

Sincerely,

Congressman John Garamendi
