John,

Tuesday morning, a choir sang in front of the Capitol as advocates and elected officials came together.

Later that afternoon, dozens of Caring Across members like you gathered in a Zoom meeting to call their members of Congress.

The message was the same: to tell members of Congress that it’s time to deliver for caregiving families by passing Build Back Better.

This is the moment we’ve been building toward — Congress plans to vote this week on Build Back Better. And while there’s still a lot of work to do, it’s essential that they get this done to begin delivering for our families.

Before Congress votes, will you send one last message to your members of Congress, urging them to deliver for our families?

Build Back Better would mean more resources for families. It would mean more people can live and age in their own homes instead of institutions. It would mean paid leave so we can take care of ourselves and our families without worrying about our jobs. It would mean affordable child care for millions.

These policies are popular and desperately needed. All Congress has to do is pass the bill.

After the House votes this week, the Senate will need to pass it, too. The work in Congress will probably stretch into December, with a final vote coming before the holidays. I know we’ve been asking a lot of you — there’s a lot of work to do — but the results will be vital for all of our families.

As the choir’s voices rang out over the National Mall yesterday, I felt something I haven’t in a while: hope. We can win this if we work together.

Will you help us ensure the House votes to support caregiving families this week? Send your message today. [[link removed]]
