Friend,

Our country took a huge step forward this week when President Biden signed the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act into law. Michael was there to celebrate the work he’s done alongside his Senate colleague to make this historic moment happen, and he’s proud to play a role in bringing our infrastructure into the twenty-first century.

This new law provides Colorado with funding to start repairing the more than 3,600 miles of highways and 481 bridges in poor condition; an investment in making public transportation more accessible for Coloradans getting to school and work; broadband for people who don’t currently have it and help for others who cannot afford it. It works to ensure safe, clean drinking water is accessible everywhere, especially for our Tribal communities, provides resources to protect against wildfires, and so much more.

All of those achievements were possible thanks to grassroots supporters pitching in to help Democrats like Michael flip the Senate last year. With a 50-50 split, our slim majority is on the line again in 2022 and Democrats like Michael are vulnerable to GOP targeting.

While Michael is running to build on this progress, he’s facing well-funded attacks from Republican opponents here in Colorado and the National GOP. Republicans only need to pick up one seat next year to take back the Senate, and they’re targeting Colorado as a key state to flip.

Because Michael’s committed to serving Coloradans and not corporate special interests he doesn’t accept a cent from corporate PACs and federal lobbyists. This campaign is powered by contributions made in response to emails like these — just regular folks pitching in $3, $10, or $20 at a time.

So we’re counting on grassroots support from folks like you to hold Michael’s seat and defend our Senate majority. Will you chip in $10 or more to help Michael continue fighting for Colorado’s values in Washington?
