Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) recently announced he's running for reelection. I fully intend to defeat him and flip Iowa blue, friend – but I need you with Rep. Haley Stevens and me as we fight to protect Democratic majorities. Here's the latest:

First, the momentum is on our side. Nearly two-thirds of Iowa voters don't want to reelect Sen. Grassley, which means we have a unique opportunity and advantage that we must harness to flip this Senate seat blue and expand our majority.

But defeating Sen. Grassley – in what the Des Moines Register is calling a "marquee matchup" – will come down to resources, and the campaign arm of the Senate Republicans has already hauled in $76 million this year. Republicans are well equipped to protect their candidates and attack both Rep. Stevens and me.

So right now, ahead of our next big fundraising deadline, Rep. Stevens and I need to raise another $10,000 to keep pace with our fundraising. This is a grassroots campaign, and hitting these goals and building up resources is how we will flip Iowa blue and protect our Democratic majorities in Congress.

I fully intend to win this race, and if we defeat Sen. Grassley and flip Iowa blue, then Democrats are virtually guaranteed to hold the Senate majority. So please, can Rep. Stevens and I count on you to hit this $10,000 grassroots fundraising goal?

Split a contribution of $25 or more now to defeat Sen. Chuck Grassley and protect our House and Senate majorities. Every donation gets us one step closer to expanding Democratic control in Congress and getting working families the leadership they deserve!
