Check out the latest from NYGOP Volume 40 | November 21st, 2021 This Week at the NYGOP Follow Us On Social Media! ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Dear John, They will just never learn. In Washington, Democrats officially rammed Joe Biden's Build Back Broke socialist spending bonanza through the House where every single New York Democrat representative voted in favor. Our entire House Republican team stood up for American taxpayers and Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy spoke for over 8 hours on the floor to break down each disastrous detail. Billions in additional debt, higher taxes on business, and money for illegal immigrants all while prices and inflation balloon to record levels. New Yorkers alone could face some of the highest tax increases in the entire nation. The only way we put a stop to this madness is by continuing to be the beacon of light in the storm for Americans. Republicans are fighting to protect working-class Americans, lower taxes, and keep our streets safe. This will be the message that delivers us a massive red wave in 2022. Another bombshell report out of New York this week shows that the Albany culture of corruption continues under Hochul and Benjamin. U.S. Attorneys for the Southern District of New York announced the arrest of a man charged with a scheme to funnel illegal campaign contributions to the New York City Comptroller Campaign of current Lieutenant Governor Brian Benjamin. The Albany swamp will always be a cesspool of corrupt politicians as long as Democrats are in charge. New Yorkers are ready to slam the revolving door of corruption shut and elect Lee Zeldin governor in 2022! Sincerely, Nick Langworthy NYGOP Chairman Poll of the Week: Chairman Nick Langworthy wants to hear from you! The Democrats and Joe Biden are at RECORD LOW approval ratings with the largest GOP lead in polling in 40 years! Republicans are in a prime position to win BIG in 2022. Help us keep up the momentum, fund our ambitious 2022 plan, and STOP socialism by chipping in $20.22 or anything you can right now. Chip In Here NYGOP Must See News: GOP points to bail reform as reason for red wave in Long Island DA’s races Legislative Gazette On the morning after the elections, Nick Langworthy, chairman of the New York State Republican Committee said “We need to capitalize on these victories and keep the momentum going into 2022 when we need to accomplish our ultimate goal of electing a Republican governor. “This is the only way we will truly change New York and put it back on a path to prosperity, public safety and freedom.” Read Full Here Bail reform debate already heating up before session next year Spectrum News Republicans have rallied against bail reform since the beginning and with the rise in violent crime across New York, Republicans are now again pointing to these laws saying the two are connected. Advocates disagree with this claim, saying that money bail heightened wealth inequity and racism. However, this issue has become campaign fodder and state Republican Party Chairman Nick Langworthy says he will be touring the state with this message. “We need to clean up the streets,” Langworthy said. “We need to keep people safe in their homes, in their communities, and we are going to make sure that the voters in every community in this state understand who was responsible for bringing this to you.” Read Full Here Pal of Lt. Gov. Brian Benjamin indicted for scheme to rip off NYC campaign finance system Daily News A Harlem real estate big with ties to Lt. Gov. Brian Benjamin was indicted Friday for attempting to rip off the city’s campaign finance system, prosecutors announced. The candidate wasn’t named in the indictment, but sources with knowledge of the matter confirmed him to be Benjamin. The national survey, released on Thursday by Quinnipiac University, indicates President Biden dropping to his lowest level of public support since taking over in the White House in January. And the poll also indicates that more than two-thirds of Americans are changing their spending habits due to rising prices. By a 46%-38% margin, those questioned in the poll said they would want to see the Republican Party win control of the House if the midterms were held today, with 16% not offering an opinion. The findings from a draft of the Assembly Judiciary Committee’s 45-page investigative report on Cuomo also blasts the former gov for deliberately undercounting nursing deaths from the virus to make himself look better. “The report is very telling,” said Assemblyman Michael Montesano, the ranking Republican on the Assembly Judiciary Committee, who reviewed the report on Thursday.
