Federal funding for operations is set to expire next month -- and the last time that happened, Trump shut down the government (for the longest span of time EVER) because he wanted money to build his wall.

There's a possibility that Trump will try to do it again, but this time, to interfere with the House impeachment inquiry. Democratic Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin (IL) said he doesn't put anything past Trump when it comes to blocking impeachment.
