John,

As a parent, I will not be silenced when trying to protect my children.

At Monday night’s Austin ISD school board meeting, transgender activists aggressively disrupted our press conference in an attempt to silence my voice and the voice of other parents who where opposed to a radical sex education curriculum.

LGBT supporters of the curriculum hosted a Drag Queen show right outside the school board meeting in the presence of small children. This follows Austin ISD inviting a Drag Queen, with a criminal record for prostitution, into an elementary school to read to children.

But they did not silence our voice against this immoral agenda. Help us keep standing up for children>>>

I’m proud that our supporters stood their ground, not responding in kind, while leaving no doubt that Austin parents and concerned citizens do not support the district’s plan to indoctrinate our children with inappropriate LGBT propaganda.

Will you join us as we push back against this dangerous agenda and protect our children and biblical worldview?

Unfortunately, after a record number of speakers turned out - with a strong majority opposed - the Austin ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously after midnight to approve the curriculum.

The vote by the Board sends a clear message: people of faith and traditional values are NOT welcome in Austin ISD. Religious discrimination by the government is an attack on our constitutional rights.

But I am encouraged by the overwhelming response of the body of Christ on Monday night joining together to stand for righteousness!

We must keep standing because it’s not just about Austin - it is a battle for the entire state.

Leftist LGBT advocacy groups have already announced their plan to attack Texas’ abstinence focused approach at the Texas State Board of Education. Their stated goal is to push LGBT propaganda on every Texas child in our public schools - starting in kindergarten!

John, these radicals want to use Austin ISD as a launching pad to spread this indoctrination campaign statewide.

Your support of Texas Values allows us to continue equipping parents, students, and teachers to defend biblical values and protect our right to live out our Christian faith in the public square.

Please consider making an immediate gift to support our statewide efforts.

Every donation helps us defend our precious children.

Standing with you,

David Walls
Vice President, Texas Values

P.S. As a parent that lives in Austin ISD, I was proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with Austin parents, pastors, and community leaders against this radical and immoral curriculum on Monday. Despite the failed attempts to shut us down and the Board's outrageous vote, we are not done fighting in Austin! You can watch our full press conference from Monday here
