No Black woman has ever held the office of Governor, but I am proud to stand next to candidates who are attempting to make history next year.

Black women's representation matters, not just here in Iowa, but across the country.

Black women are 7.6% of the population, yet they account for just 4.3% of all members of the House and 1% of the Senate.

luckily, we have an incredible opportunity to make our Democracy more equitable in next year.

I know that with your support, we can break barriers together.

Not only can we break barriers for women and people of color throughout this campaign. Your support will also break barriers for the many Iowans who are experiencing the toughest economic times under the most divisive leadership by helping me become Iowa’s next Governor.
