Team,

Here on the policy team, we’ve been crunching the numbers on what the bipartisan infrastructure bill signed into law on Monday by President Biden will mean for Indiana.

Right now in Indiana, there are 1,111 bridges and 5,478 miles of highway classified as being in “poor condition,” driving up commute times and creating costly wear and tear on cars. The White House estimates that each driver in Indiana pays an average of $638 in costs every year as a result.

The good news is this: $9 billion of the funding in the bipartisan infrastructure bill has been allocated to our state to alleviate these issues and more.

Infrastructure isn’t just roads and buses: we’re also looking forward to the investments that will be made in our broadband infrastructure, VA health care systems, and clean energy. These investments will all be made in the next five years, positively impacting the residents of Indiana’s First Congressional District as soon as possible.

Since his election, Frank has been working hard to advocate for this district’s infrastructure needs, including expanding broadband access and improving infrastructure to care for our veterans. Will you contribute to our campaign to make sure Frank can continue to lead in infrastructure revitalization efforts with this long-overdue investment?

Thank you for your support,
—Mrvan Policy Team
