I am so proud to be endorsing Charles Booker in his campaign against Rand Paul for U.S. Senate in Kentucky.

Growing up in one of the poorest zip codes, Charles experienced poverty first-hand, having to ration insulin because he couldn’t afford the medication he needed.

Despite all of this, Charles became the first from his family to graduate from law school and went on to serve as the youngest Black state legislator in nearly 90 years, helping pass legislation providing life-saving medication to those who need it, regardless of income.

Unlike Rand Paul, Charles is running for U.S. Senate to make Kentucky a place where every single Kentuckian, not just the rich and powerful, can thrive.

Rand Paul on the other hand, only serves himself. Last year, Rand was offered a private briefing on the risks of COVID before anyone else knew , and used that information to enrich himself by investing in a drug company that makes COVID treatments.

It’s clear that Rand Paul is unfit to be a Senator, and why Charles is leading the way to demand the change Kentucky deserves.
