Elections in this country are sacred and should be protected without partisan bias, unless you ask Ron Johnson . He called for Wisconsin state Republicans to take over elections and tell local officials to ignore the bipartisan Elections Commission.

Johnson has repeatedly criticized the Elections Commission and perpetuated lies about the accuracy of the 2020 election. Now, he’s telling state legislators to simply ignore the guidelines set in place to ensure free and fair elections.

This is especially dangerous in a swing state like Wisconsin. With America so divided, casting doubt and creating chaos in elections in a battleground state like ours could have disastrous consequences for the future of our democracy.
