I just returned from the United Kingdom where I had the opportunity to attend COP26 with a bipartisan, bicameral congressional delegation.
COP26 is the UN’s annual climate conference, and this year, I joined my colleagues to call for urgent global action in the fight against climate change.
There is so much work to be done, and in the months ahead, I’ll be fighting for cuts to global methane emissions, investments in sustainable housing, and a tax on carbon pollution, to name a few priorities.
But I want to know if you’re with me in the race against climate change.
Will you add your name to stand with me at this critical moment in the fight against the climate crisis?
I’m committed to fighting for a brighter future for our children and grandchildren, and our planet. With this year’s COP26 behind us, now is the time for Congress to pass effective legislation to fight the climate crisis.
That’s why I’ve led on legislation like the
POWER ON Act, which was recently signed into law by the president and will invest in our electric grid and prepare for future wildfires, and the
FAIR Transition and Competition Act, which will establish a border carbon adjustment tax that will reduce global carbon emissions.
There is more work to be done, and I’m focused everyday on how to build a brighter future for us all. But I need to know that you’re with me.
Will you add your name to stand with me in the fight against climate change?
Thank you for taking action,
Scott
